How to delete

1. Open Profile and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Find Delete account and read the appointment consequences.
3. Check the confirmation box, type DELETE, and choose Permanently delete my account.

For security, this page does not delete an account without signing in. A deletion cannot be undone.

Active appointments

Deleting an account cancels its active appointments and closes pending offers and checkout work.

• For live payments accepted under the current policy, customer cancellation before the appointment starts refunds the full paid deposit and Tattoo Finder's $5.99 booking fee.
• Artist cancellation refunds the full paid deposit and booking fee, including cancellation after the appointment starts.

Review your accepted appointment terms for customer cancellation after the start time or a no-show. Earlier test or simulated appointments retain their original terms. Refund requests are not completed refunds until Stripe confirms them; failed requests can require support recovery.

What is removed and what remains

Sign-in is revoked, your public artist profile is removed, saved items and notification preferences are cleared, and account identity details are replaced with a deleted-account identity. Owned uploaded images are made unavailable; images not retained as unresolved evidence are queued for storage removal.

Your own messages, reviews, flash and special descriptions, reschedule notes and resolved-report text are removed or redacted unless an unresolved appointment, payment, refund, dispute or open report needs that evidence. Your reviews and artist content are unpublished even when evidence is held.

Other people's text and accepted offer, appointment, policy and financial history remain. Images needed as unresolved evidence are hidden from public and participant access, retained for authorized report review, and excluded from storage removal while held. Retained text may still contain personal information. Resolving a case does not automatically erase retained evidence; contact support with a privacy request.

Connected-calendar and sign-in-provider cleanup is queued. Cleanup can require retries or manual recovery when provider access is unavailable. If app-added appointments remain on your phone, restore calendar access and reopen the app to retry, or remove those events manually. Cleanup has no guaranteed completion time or fixed automatic expiry for retained history.
